You can use PyXLL with either the 32 bit or 64 bit version of Excel, but you need to know which you have in order to download the correct version of PyXLL. You will also need to have the matching version of Python as it is not possible to mix 32 bit and 64 bit versions of Excel and Python.
Excel 2016, 2019 and Office 365
- Select “File” from the tool bar at the top of the screen.
- Select “Account” on the left hand menu.
- Press the “About Excel” button on the right hand side.
- At the top of this window is the Excel version followed by either “32-bit” or “64-bit”.



Excel 2013
